Love Our Community Like We Do
We can't tell you what your extracurricular life at Emory will be like, but we can promise this: you'll be engaged, you'll be supported, and you'll never be bored.
There's a bounty of campus organizations and varsity and intramural athletic teams at both Emory and Oxford colleges, quirky traditions that connect our two campuses, and close-knit residential communities at both colleges. Emory University is the place for undergraduate students who want to organize, lead, and get involved.
Our students come from all 50 states and more than 100 countries. They're bright, intellectually curious, motivated, and work together cooperatively—not competitively—inside and outside of class.
At Emory, we don't just talk about diversity, we live it. Students at Oxford and Emory colleges come from a variety of backgrounds. This makes for a vibrant community, where students share their interests and many different points of view.
Make an Impact
Your education should inspire you to change the way we live in the world—however you see fit. Service is a hallmark of Emory students, whether here in our hometown of Atlanta or around the nation and the world. Many students serve as leaders on our campus, organizing, creating, and running the more than 300 social, athletic, pre-professional, religious, and service clubs found here.
What makes Emory special are the longstanding traditions found on both of our campuses. From Wonderful Wednesdays and Dooley's Week, to Oxford Olympics and Songfest, to Emory Cares International Service Day and alternative spring and fall breaks, and more, you'll create a lifetime of memories, whatever you choose to do here.
