Emory University closes most academic and administrative offices for Winter Recess, the three days between the Christmas and New Year holidays. The Office of Undergraduate Admission will be closed from Dec. 22, 2023 to Jan. 1, 2024, reopening on Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024. How can I visit campus and engage?

Whether you're physically on one of our campuses or joining us from the comfort of your home, we're excited to welcome families to experience Emory. There are 80+ ways to participate in events from now to the end of April to help guide your decision. Join us for guided walking tours, live information sessions with admission staff, conversations with current students, and more. 

How do I register for a self-guided tour?

Do you plan to visit campus on a day we don't have something scheduled? The self-guided tour includes locations that showcase Emory academic and campus highlights. Use your smartphone to navigate an online map (similar to Google Maps) and scan the QR code at each campus location to learn more about it. Will I be able to see inside a residence hall?

Viewing a residence hall room is not guaranteed on either campus. This decision is dependent on many factors and prioritizes the health and safety of students currently living on campus.

You will be able see the exteriors of all the residence halls and where they’re located in proximity to academic buildings, the student center, dining locations, the gym, and more.

Can I meet in person with current students or staff?

Admission staff are available on both campuses Monday through Friday, and we are always happy to connect with you via phone or email. We can’t guarantee current students will be available to meet in person with admitted students outside of regularly scheduled events.
