Visiting Emory

How can I visit campus and learn more?
Whether you're physically on one of our campuses or joining us from the comfort of your home, we're excited to welcome families to experience Emory. There are 80+ ways to participate in events from now to the end of April to help guide your decision. Join us for guided walking tours, live information sessions with admission staff, conversations with current students, and more. Opportunities will be added to the event section of this website as they become available.
Do you offer a self-guided tour?
Yes! Emory’s Self-Guided Tour is a great way to explore our academics, campus life, and community—on your schedule. You and your family are welcome to explore Emory’s outdoor spaces to get a feel for campus life and the distances between key areas like residence halls, classrooms, and common spaces. You can also enjoy the student center, select dining spots, coffee shops, and the campus bookstore. If you’re on campus weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., feel free to stop by the Admission front desk to pick up maps and ask questions.
Access the web version at visitour.io/emory-university or text VisitEmory to 58052. For the best experience, download the iOS or Android app for turn-by-turn directions and augmented reality. Please register before visiting: apply.emory.edu/discover/self-guided-tour.html. Once registered, you’ll receive full tour details and app links by email.
Can I meet in person with current students or staff?
Admission staff are available on both campuses Monday through Friday, and we are always happy to connect with you via phone or email. We can’t guarantee current students will be available to meet in person with admitted students outside of regularly scheduled events. The best way to connect with an Admission staff member or current student is through the links below.

Will I be able to see inside a residence hall?
Viewing a residence hall room is not guaranteed on either campus, as this depends on various factors, including student availability and willingness. We do make an effort to have one available for viewing. You will be able to see the exteriors of all the residence halls and their proximity to academic buildings, the student center, dining locations, the gym, and more.
While on campus, you can walk around the residence halls to see their proximity to academic buildings, the student center, dining locations, and the gym. 360° images of a typical residence hall are available online:
