How to Complete Your Enrollment
Submit your $845 non-refundable enrollment deposit (see instructions for domestic and international students below). Electronically sign the First-Year Student Enrollment Agreement (sign in under Make Your Decision).
How to Pay Your Deposit
ONLINE (PREFERRED): To pay online via OPUS, Emory's online student system, using a US bank account or credit card: First, obtain your OPUS Network ID and Password. Then log in to OPUS, open the Admission tile, find the link to pay your deposit, and follow the instructions to submit your deposit.
INTERNATIONALLY (DEPOSIT): International students without a U.S. credit card or bank account can pay their deposit through international wire transfer in OPUS. OPUS also offers Western Union Business Solutions (WUBS Global Pay), which converts many currencies to U.S. dollars and sends payment directly to your student account. Select the Admission tile in OPUS, then Pay Admission Deposit to view instructions. For international payments, be sure the applicant’s full name and seven-digit EMPLID are entered correctly on the WUBS Global Pay website.
INTERNATIONALLY (WIRE TRANSFER): If you cannot use a US bank account or the foreign currency payment option, you can send your payment by wire transfer. Instructions for submitting a wire transfer are found on the Pay Admission Deposit page. Please review our policies regarding wire transfers, and allow up to 10 business days for the funds to be posted.
BY MAIL: The preferred method for paying your deposit is online via your OPUS account. If you have extenuating circumstances or are unable to pay your deposit online, please email to admission@emory.edu.
NEED MORE TIME? If you have extenuating circumstances and need additional time, please complete the Deposit Extension Request form.
Financial Aid
If you applied for financial aid and met your financial aid deadline, your aid information will be available in the Financial Aid tile of OPUS approximately 24 to 48 business hours after the release of your admission decision. If you have missing documentation, your award may not be available. Missing documentation will be listed on your To-Do list from the Tasks tile within OPUS. If you have questions about financial aid, please contact the offices listed here.

Considering a Gap Year?
Students may wish to take a gap year or defer their enrollment in Emory University for a variety of reasons. Emory considers deferred enrollment as a time for you to pursue non-academic enrichment, personal fulfillment, service, social enterprise, growth, exploration, and self-discovery. The core purpose of our deferred enrollment policy does not include seeking full-time enrollment in another institution. Learn more about gap year.
