Regular Decision

If you want the flexibility of a traditional, nonbinding process, this is the plan for you. Applicants are able to apply to Emory College, Oxford College, or to both schools with the same application. The bulk of Emory applicants apply Regular Decision.

Important Notes

  • If you have already submitted your application to only Emory College or Oxford College, you may later decide you would like to be considered for admission to the other college. • Once an applicant has submitted their application and it has been processed, applicants can check their status through the Status Portal.
  • Applicants interested in need-based financial aid must submit the FAFSA, CSS Profile, and tax returns by February 15. Full details about financial aid requirements and deadlines for Regular Decision applicants can be found on the Financial Aid website.

A Note about Early Admission (Juniors Only)

Early Admission is an application option for high school juniors. Academically exceptional students who wish to enter college after completing the eleventh grade may apply for the Early Admission plan. Candidates are expected to complete all requirements of regular admission by the stated deadlines, as well as meet the same standards of eligibility. Please note that the most successful Early Admission candidates are those who have completely exhausted their high school’s advanced curriculum offerings.
